Pat Schutte #11

Pat Schutte #11 started pitting for Paul and Russ in the ealry seventies, by pitting I mean running for more beer. Which wasn't an easy task in the old days when we built our car at the bottom of a hill in the woods. He started driving in 1978 at the age of 15 (on a learners permit), Dad had to sign a waiver just to get him into the pits. He drove a 63 Pontiac Ventura and finished third in a heat. He didn't run again until 95, when he won a heat and got third in the feature with a 75 Grand Prix. He competed in 96,97,99 getting a two more thirds in the feature. Pat is the king of third place, until 2001 and 2002 when he won back to back features in Monroe WI.
