We are Schutte Racing Team or SRT, we come from a family of 17 kids(all from the same Mom and Dad), hence the name 17 Strong. We run the car # for our birth position(Pat was the 11th child and runs #11). Schutte Racing Team is originally from Monroe WI, but we compete across the nation, as far West as Tucson Arizona and Ogden Utah, throughout the midwest NE, IA, IL, WI and as far east as KY. We have had many television appearance, most notably, Inside DD(Travel Channel), Crash Test(A&E) and Over the Edge(Speed) as well as many cable network shows. We have never been defeated in head to head team competetions. Defeating Mopar Express at Metal Mayhem 2005 and the Hymark Towing Team at Husker Havoc 2006.

If you haven't already heard I started a new organization called the Demolition Derby Drivers Assoc. or the DDDA(Triple DA) we are currently close to 16,000 members strong. Our main goal is to better the sport through standardized rules, newsletters and helping drivers across the nation build better cars and put on better shows.
